Celebrating a Milestone: Thank You for 50 Downloads on the InTouch Think STEAM Careers Podcast!

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the supporters who've been instrumental in helping us reach a significant milestone - 50 downloads on our InTouch Think STEAM Careers podcast on Buzzsprout! This achievement wouldn't have been possible without your unwavering backing and the rich contribution from our exceptional guests, the true champions of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education and careers. Their unwavering efforts have created awareness about groundbreaking innovations in the STEAM realm.

Suppose you have not seen our episode on LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Buzzsprout, Spotify, Amazon, Instagram, and other platforms. In that case, we encourage you to check some of the episodes out and support our efforts to build enough capacity and representation of members of the BIPOC community in the STEAM field ten years from now.

STEAM lies at the heart of our communities, being a vital force driving our health and economy and shaping agricultural resources, waste and sanitation management, technological advances, and security. These facets are quintessential for sustainable development and are inextricably linked with innovation across various societal sectors.

Understanding the significance of STEAM in our community, our podcast explores the ever-evolving world of science, technology, arts, and mathematics. It unravels the intersections of these disciplines while throwing light on the underrepresentation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in STEAM academic and career spheres. Our goal is to underline the power of STEAM education to empower the upcoming BIPOC generation to assume roles of thinkers, movers, shakers, leaders, and entrepreneurs in the STEAM revolution and evolution in our community.

As the STEAM landscape continues to shift and grow, our podcast bridges the gap by connecting with stalwarts who believe in and are active in STEAM education and careers. We endeavor to enable viewers and listeners to glean insights into how the BIPOC community can step into and flourish within this vibrant field of interdisciplinary innovation, thereby enriching its quality and diversity.

My sincere hope is that our broadcasts catalyze to recognize the importance of S.T.E.M. and STEAM education, empowering the next BIPOC generation to envision themselves as part of the STEAM narrative and to contribute to amplifying their representation in the field. These efforts will undoubtedly kindle novel research and innovations. As a consolidated source of knowledge and inspiration, the interviews and resources shared through our podcast will serve as invaluable guides to students, professionals, parents, policymakers in education and STEAM careers, and enthusiasts venturing into the fascinating world of STEAM. Once again, thank you all for being part of this enriching journey!
